i’m annoyed af

I’m tired.

Lately ‘ve been annoyed a lot. In my field of study you have to do a lot of team work and to be honest, so far I’m hating it. Don’t get me wrong – I enjoy working with people who work just as hard as I do. The problem is that there is always that special snowflake who isn’t doing shit. And it affects the whole group. Great.

Another thing bothering me are incompetent people. When you are working in teams, sometimes you end up with someone who doesn’t have either skills nor knowledge. You end up being exhausted from explaining everything to them over and over again and no work is getting done.

Sigh. But enough of my whining.

Other than that my week has been pretty okay. Honestly, I’m too worked up about something that happened at work so I’ll stop here. I hope everyone who’s reading this has a better evening than I did.

Vegan Kimchi and a Disappointing Election

img_0350

My back hurts from preparing all this kimchi. I made way too much considering the fact that I have never tried kimchi before. Luckily it tastes really good so I definitely recommend you try out cheaplazyvegan’s recipe!

But let’s talk about the Trump disaster. I woke up today expecting Hilary Clinton to have won the election and was shocked to find out that this son of a bitch is going to be the next president of the United States. It saddens me to see what our world has become. I hope 2017 is going to be better.screenshot-6

What have I been up to lately?

I guess it’s obvious that I haven’t been active lately.

I planned on posting frequently, I really did. I always wanted an interesting blog filled with useful posts which mattered… I wanted to have a nice website which I can proudly show people. But honestly, that’s not me. I prefer writing about myself. My life is just waaaaay too exciting, I feel bad not telling you about what I did today or posting pictures of what I ate. I didn’t want you to miss out on this quality content any longer /sarcasm.

So here I am, giving unnie.net a 3rd try. Bare with me, guys (who am I even talking to I don’t have any readers left lmao).

So what’s new?

I have the new iPhone 7 in rose gold and I’m loving it. What a sexy phone!
Also I stopped studying Law of Information and now I’m doing Online Communication (basically Media and PR). So far I’m loving it but then again exam week hasn’t started yet.

Me and two girls from uni went to see a classical music concert. It was my first time listening to symphonies live so I didn’t know what to expect. It was a nice experience, though, and I have to admit I felt really sophisticated. Sadly I’m not as cultured as I like to think I am so I don’t think I’ll go to see something like that again. The music made me so tired I ended up falling asleep immediately after I arrived home.

brb…

I am revamping the site.

I’m busy with uni atm and I want to design something new. Stay tuned.

My Trip To Paris – Being #VEGAN In Paris

img_9703

I haven’t traveled in a very long time so I was super excited about our 4-day-trip to Paris. I went with my boyfriend, since you know, Paris is supposed to be the most romantic city in the world (I think whoever said that is right). We stayed at the Hibiscus Hotel which is located in the center of Paris and has around two stars.

The hotel

This hotel helped us to raise your relationship to the next level. Everything was great, our room was small but clean and the view was nice, too. Now here’s the thing; Usually, bathroom doors close, right? Well, ours didn’t. It always stood a crack open. You can figure how this might be… difficult for someone who usually likes to pee and take a shit in private. But oh well, the Louvre had some nice toilets.

The Mona Lisa. Not that impressive, to be honest. Maybe my mind wasn’t blown by this painting because my mom used to have a fake Mona Lisa painting which she brought from Poland – how ironic – hanging in our living room.

The Food

I saw a few vlogs of Henya Mania when she was in Paris and according to what she said being vegan in Paris wouldn’t really be a challenge. That was partly true. Usually we would start our day by eating a fresh baguette from the boulangerie right next to our hotel (apparently the best one in Paris?). I bought some fake sausage from Un Monde Vegan – very disappointing store btw! Literally everything was from Germany…. I kind of expected special french vegan products – and we also got some marmelade. This kept us full untill noon and we ended up going to Hank Burger twice, actually, because the other vegan restaurants I looked up ended up being closed.
